Aesthetic medicine governance
Physician oversight for aesthetic procedures within a mixed medical wellness practice.
MFMD offers aesthetic governance within mixed practices whose clinical activity is primarily medical. Laser-hair-removal-only practices have a separate pathway. Acceptance is confirmed after reviewing the services and clinical team.

01MFMD servicesWhat ongoing governance includes
What ongoing governance includes
Your assigned physician reviews the agreed treatment menu, licensed team, protocols, records, safety processes, and issues requiring follow-up. Collaboration or supervision for one NP/PA is included in the base fee and documented for the assigned provider. Your clinical team remains responsible for patient evaluation, treatment decisions, prescribing, and hands-on care within its authority.
02Before you beginWhat initial setup includes
What initial setup includes
We define the clinical foundation, permitted provider roles, procedure-specific protocols, evaluation and consent workflow, documentation, emergency response, and referral criteria for the accepted treatment menu. Existing protocols are reviewed before adoption; new documents are customized to your personnel, equipment, and facility.

Your menu defines the review
Injectables, medical microneedling, selected lasers, and body-contouring devices have different qualification, equipment, and safety needs. Selecting a treatment in the estimator requests review; it does not authorize an RN, electrologist, or other team member to perform every listed procedure. We confirm the responsible evaluator, ordering clinician, operator, and escalation plan for each accepted treatment.
04Rules and responsibilitiesDevices and office-procedure rules
Devices and office-procedure rules
FDA clearance of a device does not establish who may operate it under Florida law. Florida office-surgery requirements may apply depending on the actual procedure and anesthesia. FDA has also warned of serious complications with certain RF microneedling uses. MFMD reviews device-specific training, labeling, emergency readiness, and whether the proposed procedure fits our services.

Brand examples are not an exclusive list. Other models with applicable FDA 510(k) clearance, including international manufacturers, can be reviewed. The physician confirms the procedure, exact device, personnel qualifications, and treatment area during the facility assessment. For an unlisted procedure, use ‘Other procedure’ in the estimator.

How the fee works
Wellness & Aesthetic (aesthetics and IV therapy) is $1,500/month. Medical Wellness (GLP-1 weight management, BHRT/TRT, accepted peptides, ED, and advanced testing) is $1,500/month. Both groups together are $2,500/month. One APP per facility is included across the contracted groups; each additional APP is $500/month. Core aesthetic procedures are included in the group fee. Each selected Advanced category adds $500/month per facility, counted once across devices, brands, and treatment areas. Each supervised electrologist adds $1,000/month. DPC-only primary care is $2,000/month with one NP/PA and the applicable primary-care protocol included. ED and advanced testing require scope review. One-time development is based on the foundation and protocols your facility needs, as detailed below.
13Once per facilityOne common clinical foundation
One common clinical foundation
The clinical foundation is included in the selected protocol package, with no separate foundation charge. It covers the agreed operational manual, clinical responsibilities and delegation, evaluation and ordering workflow, consent and digital records, infection control, medication handling, emergency response and quality follow-up. Existing suitable documents are reviewed and reused. Each selected service adds its own protocol details.

Protocol development
Core protocol development is $500 per selected family. Advanced protocol development is $500 per procedure/device protocol. The estimator includes one protocol per selected Advanced category; additional device protocols are identified in the proposal. The clinical foundation is included in the selected protocol package. Laser/energy within a broader practice includes one device protocol at $500, with $250 per additional machine protocol.
15Your teamDefined clinical roles
Defined clinical roles
Medical Wellness programs use a qualified treating NP/PA. DPC may use a qualified primary-care physician or NP/PA; registered autonomous primary-care practice is considered within its authorized scope. For aesthetics, MFMD accepts APP participation within mixed practices whose clinical activity is primarily medical; laser hair removal alone has its own acceptance pathway. Laser hair removal combined only with Botox does not require adding Medical Wellness. The assigned physician confirms procedure-specific scope according to personnel, device, and treatment area during the facility assessment.
16Optional supportPharmacy and medical-supply accounts
Pharmacy and medical-supply accounts
Initial vendor and ancillary-service setup is part of the common foundation when needed. Ongoing MFMD physician participation to open and maintain pharmacy or medical-supply accounts is an optional $500/month per facility, subject to prior MFMD approval of the sources and requested support. Facilities maintaining their own accounts do not incur this monthly fee. Medicines, supplies, testing, equipment, and third-party services are separate.
17Before services beginReadiness and clinical platform
Readiness and clinical platform
Choose your services and describe your team and existing clinical documents. MFMD confirms the agreed scope, physician involvement, and activation date after review. A HIPAA-compliant digital clinical platform with documented patient encounters and physician access must be in use before services begin. Appointment software alone and paper-only records do not meet this requirement.
18Start date and paymentsA clear monthly cycle
A clear monthly cycle
The initial payment is due on the effective date of the Agreement, unless a different due date is expressly stated in the payment schedule. Recurring due dates follow the agreed schedule. Governance begins on the agreed commencement date after the required clinical readiness steps are complete. Signing, payment and clinical activation are separate milestones.
Verify the rule before applying it to the facility.
These links support the general regulatory review. They do not replace facility-specific analysis or legal advice.
Clear answers before the estimate.
The final answer depends on the facility, licensed roster, payer model, and proposed services.
Does an estimate confirm that you can accept my facility?
No. It provides a planning amount from your answers. Acceptance depends on coverage, licensure, professionals, services, and assigned-physician availability. Excluded services are not accepted through an automatic additional charge.
Does MFMD provide direct patient care, legal services, or payer credentialing?
These governance services do not automatically include direct patient care, prescriptions, payer credentialing, AHCA application preparation, or legal representation. MFMD is not a law firm. Statutory duties of an accepted clinic’s director remain in effect, including billing review where applicable.
Who will be the assigned physician?
MFMD confirms a physician according to qualifications, services, location, and availability. Armando A Falcon, MD, is the Founder and CEO; a page or estimate does not promise that he will be every facility’s physician.
Build the right governance scope for your facility.
The two-minute estimator uses business and facility information to define your planning scope.
